Arts & Culture
Art in the Water Street District breaks the boundaries of gallery walls. You'll find it on the street. Throughout the city blocks. On the walls of our buildings. And infused in the cultural activities that make our neighborhood vibrant and alive.
Art Galleries
Water Street District is as rich in art as it is in history. Scores of resident artists hold premiers, open houses and private showings here throughout the year. You'll see everything from folk art to fine art – always in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that encourages dialog and discussion.

The Museum District
Henderson is home to a planned 150-acre museum district that will, upon completion, be home to an innovative space and science center, condominium homes, dining destinations, retail stores and imaginative entryways framed by works of public art.
The focus on this district will be on providing an informal scientific experience for people of all ages. Scientific accomplishments with their roots in southern Nevada will be the primary focus.
The proposed site is located near US 95 and Galleria drive. The Museum District will be realized through a combination of fiscally responsible, financially sustainable partnerships between the City, donors and local volunteers.
