Grow Henderson Fund

As part of the Grow America Fund, this special loan program is designed specifically for job creation through small businesses. Loan amounts from $100,000 to $1,000,000 are available for uses as diverse as real estate acquisition, leasehold improvements, working capital and machinery and equipment. Façade Improvement

As a property owner, you can give your building or storefront a facelift! This program begins as a loan, but if the improvements are maintained, it turns into a grant!

Mini-Façade Improvement

Like the Façade Improvement initiative, this program means your building or storefront in Water Street District can be improved—but the difference is it is a grant (for up to 50% of the cost) so it doesn’t need to be paid back. Lessees can participate too, you just need the property owner’s consent.

Sign Grant

Get a sign for the times. As an eligible business owner, you can receive a grant for a commercial storefront sign in Water Street District totaling $2,500 to $5,000 each. This program is available to non-owner occupied and owner-occupied businesses alike.

Tenant Improvement Grant

This Program will pay up to 50% for TI improvements for targeted businesses at a rate of $25.00 per square foot, with a maximum amount of $50,000, or at a rate of $35.00 per square foot, with a maximum amount of $60,000, when sustainable building practices are used.
