Wells Park To Get A Facelift
At the Pittman Block Party, we wanted to find out how you felt about parks in your neighborhood, and where you might like to see the next one built. Well, here is what we heard: You love your existing park, but would like additional amenities and upgrades to add to the overall experience. The City of Henderson is pleased to report that we are working with Parks and Recreation on a plan to upgrade Wells Park and we are considering adding several amenities we heard you say were important to you. Immediately we will be making enhancements to the Henderson Boys & Girls Club building where you will see several changes including a new fresh coat of paint. And before we make final decisions on the park upgrade, we want to keep hearing from you, so please check your mailbox for an invitation to a public meeting this summer.
